Albert Giobbie

Albert Giobbie has 30 years experience in the banking industry.  He is currently a Senior Vice President and Regional Manager, Retail Banking, at Provident Bank in New Jersey.  In this role, Al leads and mentors his team of managers and staff in all aspects of a banker’s life:  sales and relationship building, leadership development, coaching, staff development, operations and compliance.  Al holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Pace University and is a graduate of America’s Community Bankers – National School of Banking.

In 2016, Al joined the faculty of NJBankers’ Emerging Leaders program, teaching courses in team development and talent development in a curriculum that has been designed to enhance the organizational, performance, and leadership skills of highly motivated managers who have the potential to become future leaders in the banking industry.  He has been recognized for his engaging, approachable management style and his level of deep commitment to his team and his community.

Cindy Rowan

Ph.D.

Cindy Rowan has served as President of her consulting and training firm, Performance Management Solutions for over 25 years. She has successfully helped a variety of organizations improve their profitability by designing and implementing leadership, management, and organizational development initiatives. Cindy has made numerous presentations at local, national and international conferences and received honors for her work. With extensive experience in banking; Cindy has successfully served in a variety of positions within retail banking, lending, credit, and human resources. She presently serves as the Academic Program Director and instructor to NJBankers Leadership Academy.

Additionally, Dr. Rowan has significant experience in higher education administration; having served as a Dean, Vice President , and Adjunct Professor. She shares her expertise in developing cultures of service excellence and leadership development in colleges/universities through her specialized firm, Performance Management Solutions for Higher Education. Cindy is a certified instructor for some of the nation’s leading firms dedicated to training and professional development, holds a professional certification in Career Planning & Development from the University of Michigan, and a doctoral degree in Leadership and Administration from Seton Hall University.

Connie Whitman

MBA

Connie Whitman is an expert in generating sales, building strong client relationships while improving client retention, executive coaching, training and business development. With more than 33 years’ experience Connie hosts a radio show, is an international speaker and the CEO of Whitman & Associates, LLC.  She helps businesses grow their sales and revenue streams by optimizing internal and external communication skills while developing strong relationship oriented sales cultures. Ms. Whitman holds an MBA from Monmouth University and a BA in Business Administration from Rutgers University; and is an active member of both national and international professional organizations.

Connie has been inducted, as an honored member, into the Trademark “Who’s Who” 2016 Edition for Professional Excellence. Mary Ann Pellegrino

Dr. Mary Ann Pellegrino is a psychotherapist, educator, motivational speaker, author and CEO of Pellegrino Consulting. For the past 32 years Mary Ann has worked in the fields of higher education administration, business strategy, psychotherapy, mediation, sales and marketing.

Mary Ann has developed comprehensive university and college level strategies improving student satisfaction and faculty development. She has received numerous awards and has been recognized for her expert leadership and team building skills, student retention, faculty satisfaction and institutional compliance. Dr. Pellegrino’s formal education is wide-ranging with degrees in Computer Electronic Engineering, Psychology, Master degree in Rehabilitation & Mental Health Counseling and a Doctorate degree in Leadership Education. Mary Ann has served in higher education in many capacities including Chief Academic Officer and also Vice President of Student Retention and Faculty Services for over 80 Universities throughout the world.
